The day before yesterday, there was nothing to be seen there to raise expectations. And today….

Vorgestern gab es noch nichts zu sehen was irgendwelche Erwartungen geweckt hätte. Und heute….
I planted them eight days ago. That is quite late but I’ll wait and see if they’ll still bear fruit this year.

I habe sie vor acht Tagen gesät. Das ist recht spät, aber ich werde abwarten und sehen, ob sie dieses Jahr trotzdem noch Früchte tragen.
